Joanna Rose Cinco Diaz

Joanna Diaz, also known as Joanna Rose, was born in Cebu and developed an early interest in music as a school choir member at the age of 7. She would sneak into the school music room to play with instruments like the drums, guitar, and keyboard. When caught by her mentor, instead of being scolded, she was taught how to play properly, sparking a deeper passion for music.

As she grew up, Joanna developed a love for songwriting, singing, and dancing, eventually becoming a backup dancer for artists at concerts. Known as a "jack of all trades," she learned to play nearly every musical instrument, danced, and sang at various events. Despite her talents, she never thought of pursuing a career in music until she attended a Formula 1 afterparty. She was captivated by how the DJ’s set affected the crowd, inspiring her to pursue DJing as a career.

Joanna Rose played at clubs and events in her home country before moving to Dubai, where she continues to perform globally whenever the opportunity arises. When asked what she loves most about being a DJ, she said, "Have you ever noticed that when people hear good music, their faces light up and start dancing? That! I love having the power to bring out the happy in them."
