Julio Cuba is widely regarded as one of the most prolific live performers in the dance music scene. A virtuoso violinist, composer, and producer, Julio began his musical journey at the age of 7 in Cuba. Over the years, he has performed alongside major figures in the music industry and has become known for his dynamic and powerful live performances, blending acoustic and electronic music.
In 2014, Julio’s career soared as he performed over 70 live shows across more than 40 cities worldwide. As a resident violinist for the Nikki Beach brand, Julio has played at iconic venues in Marbella, Ibiza, Mallorca, St. Barth, St. Tropez, and Bali since 2005. His collaborations include performing with artists like Beyoncé, Ne-Yo, David Guetta, and Diana Ross.
In addition to his live performances, Julio Cuba is a dedicated producer and arranger, working closely with his long-time partner Gonzalo "Shaggy" Garcia. Many of their productions have been featured in various music compilations.
Julio has also created a unique performance concept called NBJC (New Band Julio Cuba), which features two distinct shows. One is a live band performance of house music hits, specially arranged for a full band, while the other is an electronic music party (NBJC Showcase), incorporating violin, trumpet, saxophone, percussion, and DJs.
Since 2021, Julio has been the resident violinist at Sunset Group venues in Dubai, including Azure Beach, Aura Sky Pool, Drift, and Attiko. In 2022, he expanded his role as an artistic agent for Sunset Group, representing several other talented artists.
