Jad Al-kareem Tatou

Jad, a talented oud player and singer born in Damascus in 1994, currently resides in the UAE with a Golden Residence Visa and is a member of the Emirati Musicians Association. He has performed at major events such as Tunes DXB 2024 and the Damascus Opera House, collaborating on over 100 projects worldwide.

Jad’s musical style spans Arabic genres like Tarab, traditional, and Gulf music, as well as jazz, blues, and classical. Known for his ability to improvise, he seamlessly integrates his oud playing with DJs, bands, and poetry.

A passionate educator, Jad has taught oud and singing and has led youth choirs. He is also dedicated to humanitarian work, supporting causes like child protection, women’s rights, and elderly care, volunteering with NGOs in Syria and Lebanon.
