Ahmad Hijjawi, better known by his stage name Avidbold, is a Dubai-born DJ, producer, and audio engineer who has made a significant impact on the electronic music scene. With over a decade of experience, Avidbold initially built a strong reputation in Amman, Jordan, where he became a key figure in the city's vibrant electronic music scene. His residency at CLSTR, a pop-up club that transformed Amman's nightlife, helped solidify his status as a respected DJ and pioneer.
In 2016, Avidbold co-founded Frolic Loop, an event series that brought internationally recognized artists like Marc Houle, Jonas Saalbach, Zone+, and Mario Aureo to Amman, further enhancing the local electronic music culture.
In 2018, Avidbold returned to Dubai to explore new musical ventures and continue spreading positive vibes through his dynamic range of sound. Known for his versatility, his sets span genres from house to techno, and his performances have ignited pool parties, intimate dark rooms, and major festival stages alike.
Having played at renowned festivals such as Sandbox Festival, Distant Heat, Chill O'Posite, and Creamfields, Avidbold is driven by his belief that music has the power to unite people in love and peace, making him one of the most exciting talents in the region’s electronic music landscape.
