Native Colombian Lucio grew up in Bogotá and began playing the saxophone at 13. By age 17, he secured the first alto saxophone chair in the National Youth Symphonic Band of Colombia. Lucio received a scholarship to the prestigious Faculty of Arts at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he earned a B.S. degree in Saxophone Performance and Pedagogy. He has toured the Latin American pop circuit with artists like Danny Marin, Fonseca, and Andres Cepeda, and has performed at numerous clubs and jazz festivals in Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil.

Since moving to Dubai in 2009, Lucio has played at several major events and has gigged with local and international artists at the Dubai Jazz Fest, Rolling Stone Battle of the Bands, and Going Back to the Cross Roads (U.K. Blues Band with Jamiroquai's bass player). He has performed at venues such as Armani Prive, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Monarch Hotel, Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, and Shangri-La Abu Dhabi, among many others.

Lucio is available for solo performances or as a session musician.
