Hanan Halwany

Hanan Halwany is a renowned Buzuq player and music composer who specializes in both Oud and Buzuq. She has performed as a professional solo Buzuq player, formed several bands in Lebanon and the UAE, and showcased her talent through both original compositions and traditional music. Since 2011, Hanan has performed with numerous renowned musicians and joined orchestras as a Buzuq player. In 2020, she became part of the official Orchestra of Dubai and performed in the opening ceremony with legends like Hussein Al Jasmi, Andrea Bocelli, and Ahlam. In 2023, she performed with Beyoncé, Atif Aslam, AR Rahman, and others with the Firdaus Orchestra, where she will continue performing until October 2024.

Her compositions have been broadcast on radio stations and TV channels and were featured in the musical score of a Lebanese movie. In recognition of her contributions, Hanan received a medal and certificate in 2019 from The Beirut Popular Assembly for her Buzuq playing and composing. In addition to her musical career, she studied singing, psychology, and industrial psychology before becoming a Human Resources Manager. Eventually, Hanan decided to focus entirely on her music, aiming to spread positivity through her work. She continues to collaborate with local and international artists.
