Nina Oud

Nina Oud is a passionate oud player, deeply connected to both the acoustic and electric oud. Although she discovered music later in life, she quickly realized that it had always been a part of her. Originally from Lebanon, Nina moved to Sweden at the age of 11 to escape the war, and her musical journey has since taken her through Egypt, Spain, Greece, and eventually to Dubai. Despite not coming from a musical family, music has always been a central part of her life, evolving naturally rather than through major decisions.

While Nina enjoys jazz and Fairouz, she finds her true love in playing traditional songs, especially those by Sayed Darwish, appreciating their beauty and lyrical depth. She performs regularly on Saturday nights at Dubai Festival City and also teaches at an Arabic music school, sharing her passion for the oud with others.
