Danilo Olivera

Danilo Oliveiro is a highly skilled violinist with an impressive academic and performance background. He completed his Bachelor of Music with honors at the University of Bern, Switzerland, and earned his Master's Degree at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, studying under Maestro Pavel Vernikov. Danilo plays a J. Steiner violin from around 1690, which enhances his rich sound and exceptional technical ability.

Throughout his career, Danilo has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Barbara Barber, Shmuel Ashkenazi, Miriam Fried, Pinchas Zukerman, Gustavo Dudamel, and Pierre Amoyal, among others. His extensive performance experience includes playing at prestigious venues like the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London as part of Lang Lang's "Inspires" project, as well as performing Ravel's Tzigane with the Mozarteum Orchestra in São Paulo, conducted by Rolf Beck.

Danilo has also appeared at top international music festivals, including the International Festival of Campos Do Jordão, the Music Festival of Santa Catarina, the Sion Festival, and the Collegium Musicum Schloss Pommersfelden. In addition, he was honored to perform the Barber Violin Concerto at both the Kronberg Academy and Academia Tibor Varga with distinguished teachers and conductors.

With a deep passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians, Danilo has spent the past decade educating young violinists across Europe, collaborating with schools in Switzerland, Italy, and Brazil. His dedication to both performance and pedagogy has made him a respected figure in the classical music world.
